Doubleday and Company, 1983
First Edition, First impression A near fine copy with a near fine beautiful dust jacket. Signed and inscribed by Stephen King to the half title page “To … Best Wishes / Stephen King / 12/30/96.”
The book is in near fine condition with black cloth boards and bright unfaded gilt titles to spine. The boards have sharp corners which are slightly pushed and no edgewear. The binding is tight and square. Stephen King boldly signed, inscribed and dated the book with an early inscription written of “To J.R. Perry- / Best Wishes / Stephen King / 12/30/96.”. The interior of the book is in clean, crisp, fresh condition with no owner names, no handling marks, no foxing, no stains no bent pages, and no age toning to the pages. Beautiful condition book internally appearing as unread, with an outstanding large bold inscription. Please see images.
The original dust jacket has strong vibrant colors. The jacket benefited from very slight restoration to the outer spine tip and presents in near fine condition with no chips, no edgewear, no rips, no stains and no foxing. The dust jacket is NOT price clipped and has a stated price of $15.95
A very handsome example of this this title which is quite hard to locate signed. Would make a wonderful special gift for a Stephen King collector.
