The book is in beautiful crisp, clean near fine condition with vibrant green paper boards, and oatmeal quarter cloth. The boards have sharp corners with but one bumped to the rear corner, and no edgewear. The binding is tight and square. Bright unfaded gilt titles to the spine and front with some toning to the quarter cloth. The vibrant green end papers are in perfect condition with no owner names, no bookplates and no bookstore stamps. Stephen King boldly signed the book in black ink on the half title page “Stephen King”. The interior of the book is in crisp clean condition with bright pages with no handling marks, no stains, no foxing, no bent pages and no age toning to the pages. Beautiful condition book internally appearing as crisp and unread. Please see images.
The near fine original unrestored dust jacket is in beautiful condition. The dust jacket has strong vibrant colors, with NONE of the otherwise common fading of the red titles which tend to occur to the spine. The dust jacket but a few tiny tiny nicks to the corner tip folds, otherwise no chips, no nicks, no tears, no edgewear, no stains, no fading and no foxing. The dust jacket is NOT price clipped and has a stated price of $18.95
A very handsome clean, crisp example of this extremely scarce signed title. Would make a wonderful special gift for a Stephen King collector, accompanied by a Letter of Authenticity.
