Clarke to his Agent, Les Flood “To Les Flood, With All Good Wishes / Arthur C. Clarke / 15 July ’54”. Leslie “Les” Flood was a British literary agent, who founded the Fantasy Book Centre, and the UK’s first SF bookstore. He took over Ted Carnell’s literary agency when Carnell died. He was one of the creators of the International Fantasy Award in 1951.
Near fine clean book with a crisp interior, with a beautiful dust jacket. Arthur Clarke’s third novel, and remains listed in the top 100 of David Pringle’s “Best 100 Science Fiction Novels”.

The book is in near fine/fine condition with red cloth boards with bright unfaded black titles to spine. The boards have sharp corners with no edgewear. The binding is tight and square.
