The book is in beautiful crisp, clean condition with red paper, and black quarter cloth boards. The boards have sharp corners, and no edgewear, just a faded half dime size area of discoloration to the front. The binding is tight and square. Bright, unfaded red and silver titles to the spine. Stephen King signed the book “Stephen King” in vibrant blue ink to the title page. The interior of the book is in crisp clean condition with bright, flat pages with no handling marks, no stains, no foxing, no bent pages and no age toning to the pages. The original unrestored dust jacket presents in near fine condition with some slight edgewear to the lower spine tip and a 1″ intact perfect tear to upper front panel (virtually impossible to see). Otherwise the dust jacket has strong, vibrant colors with no nicks, no chips, no edgewear, no rips, no stains and no fading. The dust jacket is NOT price clipped and has a stated price of $16.95. A very handsome example of this scarce signed title with highly collectible condition.This first printing book, signed by Stephen King, appears to be far more scarce than the later published limited edition of the same title!
