Original crisp black hatched covered boards with silver titles to spine and a diamond emblem to the front of the boards. The book has sharp corners and no edgewear. No dry or splitting spine. The binding is tight and square. The end papers are clean and bright with no bookstore stamps, no owner names and no bookplates. The original first edition dust jacket presents in near fine/fine condition having benefited from very slight restoration to the outer spine tips by an expert paper conservator. As such, the dust jacket has strong vibrant colors with but a very faint smudge to the rear panel, otherwise No edgewear, No rips, No chips, No fading, No stains, No rubbing and No foxing.
