The first printing book has deep blue quarter cloth and blue paper boards in near fine condition with some very slight toning, mostly to the lower tip of the spine cloth. The book has sharp corners and no edgewear. The binding is tight and square. SIGNED by Stephen King on the front fly leaf in black ink “Stephen King”. The interior of the book is in crisp clean condition with bright pages with no handling marks, no stains, no foxing, no bent pages and no age toning to the pages. Please see images.
The book is a collection of 4 novellas, including “Rita Hayworth and the Shawshank Redemption” and “The Body” (Stand by Me); both of these stories (and Apt Pupil) were made into brilliant films, some critics say Shawshank one of the best of all time.
