RENDERED IN BLACK FELT TIP BY DR. SEUSS, A STUNNING DRAWING REPRESENTING THE COVER OF THE BOOK, “THERE’S A WOCKET IN MY POCKET”. Signed by Dr. Seuss “Dr. Seuss”, who added an additional inscription along the lower edge of “for the kids at St. Cathrines”, Framed in a silver leaf frame, and accompanied by two Letters of Authenticity, and a letter of provenance.
The art is in fine condition and has been matted framed and glazed in UV acrylic and archival materials to a completed size of 16.75″ TALL X 14″ WIDE . The artwork by sight is 9.75″ x 7.5″.

This charming piece was rendered as the cover of one of the books by Dr. Seuss, “There’s A Wocket In My Pocket!”, and shows the title, and a boy running along with a “Wocket” in his back pocket. Most of the story telling by Dr. Seuss are parables to life, and were meant to offer insight and wisdom to its young readers. NOTE-VERY FEW ORIGINAL AUTHENTICATED PIECES OF ART BY DR. The story features a little boy talking about what strange creatures live in his house, such as the yeps on the steps, the nooth grush standing on the toothbrush, the yottle in the bottle and a Nureau in a bureau.

An extremely rare original by DR. Seuss where he draws the cover of one of his books. Offered with two Letters of Authenticity, and a Letter of Provenance.
