A Superb ALL Original Peter Max, (no litho), circa 1982, with an additional original signed Peter Max sketch on the reverse of the frame. This fantastic small jewel was framed in a funky chunky carved wood deep frame (the wood is nearly 2″ in depth). The art was rendered in “bright soft” colors of pink and grey, using watercolors, and ink. Max drew a stunning pop art piece depicting a woman in “profile”. Signed “Peter Max / 82” upper left of the artwork. Presented in the original frame, with Peter Max including a second original signed sketch on the verso depicting a heart with another woman in profile drawn in the center of the heart. The sketch on the verso is signed upper left “MAX”. A Fantastic Striking All-Original piece with the original gallery stamp located on the verso.

PROVENANCE:
The art was purchased from an Auction House who was commissioned to sell numerous original illustrations by Peter Max. A copy of the original bill of sale, lot number and the description will be included with the piece, and will provide both provenance and authenticity for the art. The frame also still maintains the original Gallery stamp on the verso of the frame in addition to the second signed sketch by Peter Max providing further provenance and authenticity.
Note this is NOT a limited edition, this is NOT a lithograph, NOR is this the common Peter Max mixed media one usually sees (which is partially a litho with added embellishments), instead this is 100% a one-of-a-kind original piece by Peter Max
Condition: Both the art and the frame are in excellent condition (note the frame is meant to have a chunky burled appearance)
