The book has the requisite matte boards with the single signature binding as required for the identification of the true first edition, first printing of this title. The book is in beautiful condition with bright clean boards with no edgewear. Even the rear white board remains bright. The binding is tight and square. The boards have a bit of restoration to the very outer spine ends and as such have no rips, and the spine is fully intact which is most unusual for this title. The end papers are clean with no inscriptions, no bookplates and no bookstore stamps. The internal pages are overall clean with slight occasional intermittent foxing or small light stains. Otherwise no bent pages and no writing. Please see images.
The original first edition, first printing dust jacket has benefited from some restoration to the spine tips by an expert paper conservator and as such presents in near fine condition. The jacket has strong vibrant colors with no edgewear, no chips, no rips, no stains, no rubbing and no fading. Even the rear panel remains bright white.
